Karen has extensive experience in a wide variety of commercial agreements in the technology sphere, from software development and licensing agreements through teaming and cooperation agreements and framework supply, services and funded research arrangements. Karen serves clients in varied sectors, including telecommunications, medical devices, infrastructure, hardware, software and e-commerce sectors. She has extensive experience handling all IP facets in the gaming industry.
Karen provides IP-focused services in the context of M&A and other corporate transactions, including supervising IP due diligence, drafting and negotiating IP representations and negotiating and drafting relevant licensing and related arrangements. In addition, Karen advises clients regarding trademark prosecution and she oversees the management of a number of large international trademark and domain name portfolios.
